About Dr M Mansoor Siddique

Roofing SEO Expert

My Story

Hello, my name is Mansoor (full name is Dr M Mansoor Siddique). I am the founder of roofingSEO.services, a specialist SEO agency for roofing contractors. Since founding RoofingSEO.Services in 2012, I have personally managed search campaigns for more than 230+ roofing and exterior contracting businesses across the United States and the UK. I am based in the UK, and my team is split between the UK, the USA, and the UAE.

Dr M Mansoor SiddiqueI am not an agency owner who oversees a team doing the work. I conduct the technical audits, write the query analysis, and am the person you speak to. That focus is deliberate: roofing has a search landscape unlike almost any other trade, emergency intent that spikes with weather, insurance-claim queries that behave nothing like retail queries, and a local pack that punishes the generic-service-page approach most agencies default to.

Why an aerospace engineer ended up in Roofing SEO

I completed a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Cambridge in 2006, with a focus on experimental fluid dynamics (specifically active control of turbulent boundary layers in low Reynolds flow)

In plain terms: turbulence is chaotic. You cannot write down what it will do next. So instead of modeling it, you build a rig, put an actuator into the flow, and measure whether your intervention actually changed anything against a baseline, over repeated runs, at a scale where the effect you’re hunting for sits uncomfortably close to the noise.

Six years of that teaches you one thing above all else: most of what looks like a result isn’t one. At low Reynolds number, the signal is small, and the measurement noise is large, and if you don’t run the control case you will convince yourself of an effect that was never there. I watched capable people do it. I did it myself, more than once, before I learned not to.

Search is the same class of problem. Google’s ranking system is opaque, and you cannot model it deterministically. All you can do is apply an intervention and measure the response, which means the entire discipline lives or dies on whether you bothered to establish what would have happened anyway.

So when a client’s traffic moves, I don’t attribute it to whatever I shipped that month. I check it against a control set of comparable pages or against the same weeks from last year before I claim credit for anything. When the industry gets excited about a ranking factor, I want to know whether it holds across a sample or whether it’s three case studies and a confident blog post. This has cost me work. I’ve told prospects their drop was seasonal, and they didn’t need to hire me. It also means the recommendations I do make tend to survive contact with reality.

To be clear about the limits of the analogy: there is no equation from boundary-layer control that ranks a web page, and anyone claiming their physics background gives them a secret algorithm is selling something. What transfers is a habit of mind about evidence, nothing more. But in an industry where “we made this change, and traffic went up” passes for proof, that habit turns out to be worth quite a lot.

How I work

Diagnosis before prescription. Every engagement opens with a technical and query-level audit before any work is proposed. If the audit shows SEO isn’t your constraint, I’ll tell you, and you’ll owe me for the audit and nothing else.

Query intent over keyword volume. “Roof repair” and “roof leaking after storm” have similar volume and completely different buyers. The roofing search splits into emergency, insurance, planned-replacement, and commercial intent, each requiring different pages.

Measured against a control. Client performance is reported against comparable non-optimized pages or a seasonal baseline, so you can see what the work actually caused rather than what happened to coincide with it.

Documented. You get the raw Search Console and Analytics data, not a slide with a green arrow on it.

Credentials

  • Aerospace Engineering MEng: Queen Mary University of London
  • Ph.D., Aerospace Engineering: University of Cambridge, 2006. Thesis: experimental active control of turbulent boundary layers at low Reynolds number
  • Google Analytics Certification (GA4): Google Skillshop, last renewed (July 2026)
  • HubSpot Inbound Marketing Certification: (2026)

What I don’t do

  • I don’t work with more than one roofing contractor per service area. If a competitor of yours is already a client, I’ll tell you at the inquiry stage.
  • I don’t sell link packages, PBN placements, or anything that requires me to be vague about where a link came from.
  • I don’t do 12-month lock-in contracts.
  • I don’t work outside roofing and exterior contracting. If you’re a plumber, I’m the wrong person, and I’ll say so.
